two hundred seventy five

PAIN- I'm not sure if I am ready for it or not but here it is coming. Went to the doc this morning and she stripped my membranes and I am dilated to 3cm. The PAIN was intense beyond what I expected and it is making me rethink the epidural again!!!
I keep telling Baby Archer that it is time... Your room is finished, we have moved in, all the stuff is clean and put away, but she doesn't budge. Yesterday I couldn't tell where one toe started and the other began.

Hoping and praying this works...

today's cravings: a baby and maybe some mango
today's goals: stay active and drink water

two hundred sixty seven

Ok now for April: weekly visits at the doctor to show NOTHING... all of these contractions have led to nothing. Archer's head is on my pelvic bone and she is turned perfectly but nothing more. I go Monday and I'm hoping to have some news of an arrival SOON.
We have been moving into our new HOUSE that we just bought for 22,000 and you would think it would be a dump but it has been great! Moving and being this pregnant not so much :( But I'm happy to say that having a nursery that I can put together has been the best :) Except I keep changing my mind about color and positions and I have to wait till Monday when the carpet is put in to put anything in her room....

today's cravings: cocoa wheaties, tofu mushroom soup, decaf mocha
today's goals: organize kitchen, finish painting upstairs, GET THIS BABY MOVING!

I couldn't believe how long it had been since I posted for the last time. I really had to get my brain(it is true about the pregnancy brain) going to figure out what all has happened since February.... had Amanda's birthday party at Dom's and ate fish while everyone else enjoyed burgers.. SALT was my enemy!
MARCH: had a visit to the hospital with contractions and cramping to find out that I had a bladder infection. They stopped the contractions with some medicine that made me very jittery and felt like I had drank TOO much coffee...
I kept on gaining weight in big numbers and was told that I needed to eat better, so I cut out the daily ice cream :( And bought myself a maternity belt to help hold this girl up.
March 24: We had a Birthday Dinner with Dom and I was told that my LONG LOST Family wasn't lost anymore. 20 years started creeeeping in. Then I started to realize that I was the one out of the loop, so I had a lot of catching up to do. The next day was spring break so that allowed me some time to sort it all out, or at least I thought...That Sunday I made the first call and talked to my dad for the first time since I was 6. Followed by my Aunt Mai, Uncle Christian, and Aunt Quynci....

March Cravings: Anything I wasn't allowed to have
March Goals: Relax and put my feet up

one hundred ninety four

It has been a while since I made a post and I think it is the awful weather that is giving me the winter blues. I am keeping my hot cocoa nearby and I have been sewing away with things for Archer (diaper bag, changing pad, stroller bag, nursing pillow, nursing cover......)
About 2 weeks ago Tyler was able to feel her for the first time, I told him he just needed to relax and just rest his hand. MEN so impatient!
At my last doc appt. had to redo the ultrasound to find a better picture of the bladder, oh my was she active. Such a big girl, she weighed in at 1 pound 11 ounces and I weighed in 15 pounds heavier than the month before! OH MY!! My doc was to say the least a bit surprised and made me get reweighed. She said she never had anyone do that before, but I told her I was just making up for lost time.
Another side note about this season: I have fallen twice on the ice and let me say my body doesn't bounce back like it used to, plus how scary it was when I was waiting to feel her move.

today's cravings: hot cocoa, bananas

today's goals: to finish crib bumpers and to not fall on the ice again

what a day it was! The last day of school and our midway ultrasound. With the OB appointment earlier in the week and my body not measuring correctly, I was ready to see this child. We saw the face, the belly, the profile, heart, stomach, brain, spine, and all the other parts... when it came to seeing the sex of the baby. Baby Schnell would not cooperate.
I had to roll over and push the belly just to get her to wake up. Yup you heard it, started with hiccups and then went to sleep. But Baby Schnell finally showed us that it was a girl!! So Archer Marie!!

today's cravings: hot chocolate, doughnuts

today's goals: get through Christmas and gain some more weight!

well after having a run of ring worm on my stomach and a scare of an infection.... things are starting to look up. Slowly getting into Christmas time...
the Schnell's are hosting Christmas this year and we are struggling through our mouse problem and the smell the oven makes when it turns, so hopefully all will turn out well. We decorated our Christmas together and slowly are decorating our house.... the best part is the little red apples all over the tree.
I am almost at the halfway point and I am beginning to have a belly, but I don't really think I have gained any weight. This child is pulling all of it from some of my favorite parts of my body. I am hoping to find out before Christmas if we are having a little Archer or a little Kellum :)

today's cravings: doughnuts, manwich, and still mac 'n cheese

today's goals: to stay positive and stress free! HA I would like to see myself do that.
